I've blogged previously about the ineptitude and poor service at the USPS, but today's experience really took the brass-plated ring.
Over in the
Chinese Coin Marketplace section of the forum, I sold a couple coins. I received payment from one of our great readers here who jumped on a good deal. I got his postal money order, which I then took to the post office to cash. I was unceremoniously told by the cashier that she didn't have that much in her drawer and that I'd have to come back later.
So let me get this straight. You offer a service of providing semi-certified funds that can be redeemed at any of your locations. I bring one of these certificates to your place of business. You refuse to honor it, telling me that I'll have to come back later when you think you might be able to honor it.
This kind of stuff makes my blood boil.
I called my bank, and they said they will take it. So there's that at least.
