Hello.i have a minor issue with multipar in regard to "base filename"
For instance, i have XX rar files named like this:

She.blabla.blabla.blabla.720p.WEB-DL.AAC2.0.H.264-BS.partxx

I select them all,multipar-create recovery volumes and multipar fails to set base filename to She.blabla.blabla.blabla.720p.WEB-DL.AAC2.0.H.264-BS. Instead it sets it to She

Quickpar doesnt have this issue.

Could you, please, fix it somehow in your next release?

With regards,
Semel

(Because original post was erased by web-forum accident, I post this again.)

 Thank you for the report. I tested the behavior of multiple "." in a filename by QuickPar. It seems that the comparison stops by two last "." (last extension or one more before it), though I thought that it stoped by first ".". QuickPar may consider a usage of double extension. I changed the naming behavior to be same at next version 1.2.2.0.

For example;
"something.odd.filename.part001.rar"
"something.odd.filename.part002.rar"
"something.odd.filename.part003.rar"
These set of files will give "something.odd.filename" as base filename.

This method doesn't care the difference of following part of two last "." (don't compare).
"something.odd.filename.txt"
"something.odd.filename.text"
"something.odd.filename.temp"
Even though the ".filename.t" part is same, they will give "something.odd" as base filename.
