Took me long enough to report back, but the network path issue ( i.e. accessing \\machine\share\path\... directories ) has been fixed in 1.1.9.6, at least for the verification mode of MultiPar. Just tested several PAR2 file sets that way and all went as expected, including the (expected) repair action.

Kudos and cheers!

PS: [Repair] button indeed grays out as requested when no repair is required or when the repair has been completed (which is just another state when no more repairing is wanted/required). Now I'm real happy with the user experience of MultiPar. :-)

PPS: will test how this baby acts when you add additional files and PAR2 volumes when you've got a severely screwed up fileset... will report about that one later on.
